文章處理費用優惠
為了免費提供公眾取用原先收費使用的內容，出版模式由讀者付費訂閱，改由作者支付文章處理費用(Article Processing Charge, APC)，以平衡出版過程的成本，包含同儕評閱費用、出版平臺維護費用等。
由於出版費用由讀者轉移至作者，APC成為學術研究者一項負擔。臺師大圖書館也與出版者積極協商合作方案，使本校研究者藉由達成各種判定條件換取對應的APC折扣。常見的條件包含以機構Email投稿、在機構的IP範圍內投稿，或投稿至指定的期刊清單中。

Article Processing Charge (APC) Discounts
In order to balance the costs of the publishing process (including peer review, maintenance of the publishing platform, etc.) and to make full-text open access available to the public, the publishing model was changed from user subscriptions to APC paid by authors.
For authors, APC can become a burden. Hence, the NTNU Library has initiated negotiations and collaborations with publishers. NTNU's researchers are eligible for APC discounts under specific conditions, such as submissions made with institutional emails, within the institutional IP range, or to journals listed by publishers.
